Alan Koshiyama:

Music Composer Alan Koshiyama

Award winning composer, Alan Koshiyama’s debut into the world of film and television music began when Universal MCA “Law & Order” producers asked him to compose the score for their independent TV pilot, “The Toothfairy Gets Greedy.” Since then, his music has entertained audiences worldwide through an impressive resume of feature film, television, video game, and national commercial work with clients:

  •      ESPN • The Hallmark Channel • Namco Bandai
  •      ABC • The Discovery Channel • Technicolor Digital

Koshiyama composed the music score for Namco’s 30th Anniversary Pac-Man release for Nintendo Wii, titled “Pac-Man Party.” Video game credits include:

Koshiyama is an affiliate of BMI and also serves as Worship Music Director at Adventure Christian Church in Northern California, U.S.A.

Jeff LaFlam:

Jeff’s passion really lies in developing games, so in his off hours, he works as an independent game developer with dreams of one day starting a small studio. He is a graduate of The University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.

Geoff Mellon:

Game Artist

Accomplished game/movie creator with 13 years of broad professional experience including hands-on contributor, team/project leader on 12 AAA titles. He has also been an instructor in game creation for 6 years. During this time he was able to find time to work in the film industry, working on after effects for several films. He has expert knowledge and skills in:

  • computer traditional art
  • animation
  • 3D modeling
  • game design

Driven to perfection with tremendous passion to create amazing computer animations and graphics, Geoff is most comfortable in his art.

In 2010 Geoff left the third party publishing industry behind with his new wife to start working on independent games. While out searching for the perfect fit in this field he met up with Jeff and started work on his brainchild Might + Magic!

Currently he lives at home with his wife, and four boys in upstate NY.

Rabecca Wallace:

3D Artist

Was born in Conroe, Texas in 1983 and currently lives and works in Albany, NY with her husband and new family as a UI and 3D artist.  She is very passionate about games and art and is driven to excellence in both.

Received a BFA in Graphic Design from Sam Houston State University in 2007 and has worked in the games industry for over 3 years now.

She has worked on such titles as:

  • Guitar Hero, Band Hero
  • Transformers for the DS
  • Backyard Baseball for third party publishing companies.

In 2010 she left the third party companies to start working on independent games with her husband and business partner.    They now work on several games for all different platforms from the iPhone and iPad to the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Lauren Bennett:

Graphic Artist

Lauren Bennett is an art student currently attending American River College. Her major is Art: New Media with an emphasis on 3D Animation. She loves drawing and is currently working on her own independent comic book.

Also a yarn junkie, she loves to knit and crochet, and she has worked as a Starbucks barista since October of 2009.

Lauren has a growing portfolio that contains artwork created for projects founded by a few independent companies. These companies include:

  • Scattered Comics
  • CandyWriter Games
  • Eyenod Studios

As her portfolio continues to grow, so does her excitement for the industry.
